As trade leaders were meeting in New York City to attend the 1st edition of Vinexpo NY, on 5 and 6 March 2018, Loire Valley Wines took the opportunity to invite 40 of them to a Happy Hour Wine Tasting.
To start this wine tasting night, Sommelier James Sligh welcomed the guests with an introduction speech about the “Garden of France” and its iconic appellations. A perfect icebreaker to discover the diversity of the region through a tasting of 8 different wines.
“I thought the setting was very relaxing, and that was welcome. The wines were good representatives of type; we especially liked the Touraine and the rosé sparkling.”

The meeting took place in the middle of flowers and New York’s skyscrapers. A perfect spot to dive properly into Loire Valley Wines’ fresh, fruity, floral and friendly wines.
